Aruga

Yesterday, the Philippine Science Foundation Inc., in partnership with renowned painter Joven Ignacio, held an art exhibit entitled "Aruga", at the Rockwell Powerplant Mall, Makati. The event was a fundraising to help address the financial needs of PSHS students, particularly those under the foundation's Godparent Program.

The exhibit opened on the 26th of January, 2007, at 6pm. Several distinguished guests were present at the ribbon-cutting, including PSHS' very own General Hermogenes Esperon, AFP chief of staff, and national artist Napoleon Abueva. Guest artist Myra Ruth Picart also exhibited her own works, all of which were already sold.

PSHS students were present all throughout, functioning as performers and ushers. The exhibit runs until February 2.
