Papercut

I've been working on something for around 10 days now. A journal.
Inspired by a certain palanca, I decided to make something that would express how things ran in my world. To some extent. I was exited. Very very exited to write, to remember, to give. And to see the reaction. ^_^

I guess I wanted to prove that I could show him what I thought. I wanted to see what he thought of it too. The weirdness, the doodles, the stories, and the top-of-my-mind rants. And I guess I fell short of the expectations. Again. ^_^

Aruga

Yesterday, the Philippine Science Foundation Inc., in partnership with renowned painter Joven Ignacio, held an art exhibit entitled "Aruga", at the Rockwell Powerplant Mall, Makati. The event was a fundraising to help address the financial needs of PSHS students, particularly those under the foundation's Godparent Program.

The exhibit opened on the 26th of January, 2007, at 6pm. Several distinguished guests were present at the ribbon-cutting, including PSHS' very own General Hermogenes Esperon, AFP chief of staff, and national artist Napoleon Abueva. Guest artist Myra Ruth Picart also exhibited her own works, all of which were already sold.

PSHS students were present all throughout, functioning as performers and ushers. The exhibit runs until February 2.

Pearls Up My Straw

2nd day of YMSAT.

We defended our tarp against the judges from 8 in the morning till lunchtime. I brought my sketchpad, my 6B pencil, and a kneaded eraser. Sadly, my art materials have been abused. Sketchpad was taken, with two pages wasted, and held for ransom. The eraser is now missing. Ergh.

Lunchie. And then, the 2nd judge. And then ROCKXS with the Diapeople. ^_^ Hurrah.

Soon after, I went back to the astb, and Erik suggested to get some Zagu. 1 hour in line. 0_0 Andand. TOOMANYPEARLS... creme brulee tastes nice. Basically, we sat there. And I doodled. And he tried to doodle. (take note. Tried.) :P

The problem right now is that parts of my memory are missing. I'd have to think hard to recall stuff....Llyza is still Maldita. And I am not owed anything. 0_0

...*mindblank*

OH yeah! I put in two new pieces for DA. Yay, a deviantID for hannah! Yay.

Icarus

You fly among the quiet clouds,
Whipping shrilly bout the empty blue-
And then the world does not exist.

Only the sun is burning your skin and the wind,
Coming in short breaths-empty,
And skyboundandalmostfree--

Feathers and the ocean roll into one,
So dip your toes into the water mountain ranges,
Circling under once earth caked soles

Salt in throat and the gull-scream echoing.
Into nothingness.

The descent begins with melting wax.

Midnight Fairydust

I can't stop smiling! =)

(I'm sorry erik, I know I said i'd sleep , but then it occured to me to update-- oh well. )

All I can say for tonight is...I'm excited. About a lot of things.

There's the prom, of course. And i've got the best date evAr, (I guess) Hahaha... a contrast of color, and a lot of ruffles. ^_^ I can't wait. Ball gowns! Masks! Paola! Yes, it's that season again. Glowing lights and black skies and gold dust in the air.

Mom and I went to UP today, and basically, she pointed out where i'd be studying, what i'd be doing-- all I can say is that i'm looking forward to the looser schedules and the freedom that college life will bring. Along with the kidnappers, rapists, terror teachers and whatnot. UPCAT results this week. :D Archi, here I come!

Argh. Still smiling. But it's better than chocolate. *huggles phone*

Buhong Sky! Yeah~

The art of cramming pinoy. And blogging! At the same time! Feel the talent. :D

Okokokok.. I haven't blogged in a while. The last time was bohol. I think. So now i've got to cover a few topics. First off, the Retreat!

It was a nice retreat. Uhhmmm, yeah. A lot more electricity than last year. You could feel the passion flaming up from the jumping people. Wonderful. Lovely. ^_^ I hope we maintain our halos till graduation, at least. Or I hope we keep them forever. 07 is a wonderful batch. And. Um. My camera ran out of battery. Rawr. But anyway, the retreat was fun and eventful and obstacle course-y, with dancing brotherhood people towards the end. :D Ohwait! I forgot! I got these wonderfabulous palancas (which i tore open giddily and finished in 10 minutes. x.x) and lots! and lots! of hugs! *dances around* Long live us. :D

Hamsters tied with string sitting in an open hand! The monkey with the trapped fruit! And the little girl inside the glass box who is also tied with string! Such was the talk of the oval-walk.

And now. After retreat, everything's gone back to normalcy. Or semi-normalcy. Person C wants to ask person A who the World expects to be asked by person B. OHno! Person C = dilemma. Will he do what he wants to do, or succumb to the expectations of the world?? (person B, what are you *really* going to do?) And thus we talked about this while working in STR, chopping and oven-drying bundles upon bundles of kangkong (thanks mom) with a groupmate and a non-groupmate who I really really wish was a groupmate. Ahh, the prom. Already?? Butwhy. It isn't even Feb yet. Hahaha. We used to be sooo excited.I guess now it's been there, done that and blahblah. Tundun.

Oh, and *advertisement* SUBMIT WORK FOR THE DALUMAT! Please? Doing so almost guarantees a hug from the not desperate Editor-in-Chief (aka the cheditor) Cy Tamura. :D
