My Tiny House

Hannah has got nothing else to do. And so, with this in mind, she blogs.

Ugh.

So, no school again. @_@ Coupcoupcoup, and the mountain gets taller, and wider. I can't wait for the freedom of summer, but then at the rate that this wiley creature named time slithers by, I won't be able to hold onto much, either. Socsci is a pain. And so is pinoy (I haven't sonnetified everything yet. argh.) For some reason, the world just shrank by three inches, and I have grown somewhat desperate.

Too many mars bars have been digested, and too many hours spent in front of the laptop, searching for "good quality" photographs for socsci. Conclusion? I have no life. Haha.

Nothing.

Tim and Robert and I are in SM, in a computer shop. They are playing some sort of multiplayer shooting game called 'Quake 3', which they attempted to teach me but failed in doing so. And, to pass the time, I blog. Yay. We watched Memoirs of a Geisha (finally), which was a nice movie, but paid more attention to the details than the emotional aspects that appeared in the book. It was a very very very pretty movie, and Zhang Ziyi was absolutely GORGEOUS as Sayuri, and so was Michelle Yeoh, who played Mameha. :) Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.

exactly.

What Your Sleeping Position Says

You are secretly sensitive, but you often put up a front.
Shy and private, you yearn for security.
You take relationships slowly.
You need lots of reassurances before you can trust.

Bring me the Moon

Father took this picture of the moon with my sister's telescope a year ago.

Edsa Day. I still haven't gotten around to translating my english poem into a filipino sonnet. As far as I'm concerned, it is one of the most horrible, uninspired, and extremely cheesy things I have written in the course of my entire life. But, due to the niceness of Robert, I don't have to translate anymore...just sonnetify it.

Dad's back from Singapore. Again. He brought chocolates, himself, and a bunch of other things, like...clothes. @_@ Isabella was rather energetic today, trying to escape a few more times than usual. Fun. I painted a cat with wings that was half asleep. What's up with cats, you ask? I have absolutely no idea. They're easy to draw, but unfortunately, I lack inspiration.

Street rallies. To commemorate Edsa Day? Violence doesn't seem very honoring. I watched a news report on TV, and everything seemes a lot less than the media hypes it up to be. Usual 'hakot' crowd, and stuff. 0_0. Nuff said.

So. With no school, the house was quite boring. Today I realized that I suck at expressing my feelings about love through poems (*cringe*) and therefore mustmust practice, if I ever want to become a half decent author someday. :D Which means more horror for the usual people I force to read my work. (hi tim.) Cy's armadillo poem put a picture in my head, of a woman who was the combination of Neil Gaiman's Delirium and the city of Los Angeles at night. Haha.
armadillo armadillo will they ever let me go? rainbow rainbow do they think I'm psycho?

The P-word

Prom. the mandatory post. Finally, it happened. Finally, it's over. ^_^ Months of preparation (for some), and then everything ending in a colorful burst of light in a little over five hours. Fun, nevertheless. Everyone was all dressed up and glamorous, with quirky variations courtesy of the seniors. Tim had his hair revamped, and Jessica looked very pretty. Haha. Prom princess! lol. Cy, despite the fixing up and the suit, still did not look straight. =P And Lorenz was the metrosexual of the moment. Yay! (You should've been the prince. Seriously.) Highlights included Egg's bright yellow gown, and the insufferably handsome Cyrus Cruz, who gave himself away to the public for free. Such a generous, generous posterboy. (line up, ladies.)

Yes. Everyone kept calling me jennifer love hewitt, O_o and once, princess diana (lol). Digicams were brandished, poses were made, and everyone smiled for the cameras. Yay, New York. The ice sculpture of the statue of liberty melted in a corner, as juniors and seniors milled about, basking in the prom-ness of the night.

The dance floor was too small. (insert cotillion here) As we sat down to recoil at our performance, I noticed Sir Dance Instructor come around and talk to egg...hm, wonder what he thought of it. lol. Our last move was extremely spur-of-the-moment, (after two days of thinking about it...it was spur of the moment. haha.) but despite um, everything, I think it went well. At least nothing slipped off. Haha. Yay. I commend erik for putting up with a klutzy dance partner. :P Whee.

Prom was fun, to be frank. Very fun. It felt incredibly short because five hours is simply not enough. I guess they should have extended the dancing time a little bit, but then, before we knew it, the clock struck twelve, and all the cinderellas of the night had to leave before the fairy godmother's magic wore off. And again, to the gentleman who had to put up with being by date, thank you. ^_^

Thus it ends with a much-loved song:

I Will
(Lennon/McCartney)

Who knows how long I've loved you
You know I love you still
Will I wait a lonely lifetime
If you want me to--I will.

For if I ever saw you
I didn't catch your name
But it never really mattered
I will always feel the same.

Love you forever and forever
Love you with all my heart
Love you whenever we're together
Love you when we're apart.

And when at last I find you
Your song will fill the air
Sing it loud so I can hear you
Make it easy to be near you
For the things you do endear you to me
You know I will
I will.

*photos will follow shortly. ^_^

Paint the Sky with Stars

Fear the irregualirity of by blog posts. *yawn* Quite a surprise that this thing's still alive. Love the new skin, although I don't listen to Zwan, or anything. OH. My head hurts, as a result of going home, dropping dead on the bed and staying that way for two hours... @_@ Argh. Achievement tests~...curse them. Whose idea was it to turn the last day of A-test week into prom.? Nyuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.....

Ugh. I've just woken up. Yay. As to what drove me to update this thing, I don't know. Maybe I should blame it on the annoying likes of timothy. =P Grrr. Prompromprom. It's tomorrow, and is currently selfishly monopolizing all four corners of the brain. UNfair. I should be studying for math. UNFair... We had cotillion a while ago. After three pairs of shoes, my heels finally worked. The dance finally worked. Sort of. -_- I feel so... compressed.? For lack of a better word. I wonder how things are going to turn out tomorrow. Maybe we'll eat chocolate cake, fall asleep, and forget all about prom. Maybe the shang will burn down at 6:29 and everyone will be forced to go out wandering into the green grassy fields and dance crazily under the stars. Yeah. @_@

Today I realized that...um...grapes smell good. lol. No, I realized that sometimes, 5-minute conversations twist themselves into 40-minute ones for a mysterious reason. Ooh. Mysterious. It felt effortless because there was a lot to say. Perhaps. Or a lot unsaid. Possibly.

Yawn. (Insert bucket of water here) Ahh. Better. *shivers* Okay. I'm awake now. I think. Dinnertime. eateateat.

twilight

HASH(0x8d21768)
Twilight...

You are that type of person that seem to always have a magical feel to them. The one that finds themself at peace when the lights are not totally of and it's not all the way dark. You are a Hopeless romantic at time.. Also you most likely have a feel for the paranormal or some supernatural thing. You are known as a dreamer and day dreamer and most likely find yourself in troble alot because of it. But you don't care because you'll just go meditate on it and everything in the world will once more be at peace..

Your Quote is...

Sweet is the dream, divinely sweet, when absent souls in fancy meet.
-Sir Thomas More
