christmas!

Merry Christmas, everyone.

Three kings stand aglow in the front garden...one parol hanging from somewhere.
We're going to pampanga for a day. Tomorrow, I think. Yay! Road trip with junk food and pit stops! Wheee!

I've been gift wrapping, but unfortunately, am not very good at it. :( Evile green shiny wrappers...take forever to tape. Argh. Ribbons! I love ribbons. Ribbons are forever. :D

I feel extremely christmasy right now. THREE DAYS! ^_^ And then...New Year...and then...school (-_-) and then...summer..

....

oh no.

何も愛しない

I'm at home, and no one else is. Sisters are off ice skating, parents are off in Pampanga somewhere, and lunch is cooking. Isabella is lying under her blue plastic toy, Bianca is at the back, and Celine and Anthony are ice skating as well.

Oh. I played Ragnarok for the first time in...two years?...yesterday, and then had a slight bout of insomnia afterwards. :P It was probably due to the unrestrained singing of the songs from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (the musical) and Edmund's charming sarcasm. My dear groupmates still do not hesitate to take their sweet time before submitting, and I continue to search for inspiration to paint my next art piece.

rootbeer and cracklings

desperate times call for desperate measures. therefore...i have decided...to give pRO one more shot... @_@

lantern parade.

Yesterday *tred* to be eventful, but needless to say, the attempt was incredibly futile. Well, in terms of enjoyability, that is. Otherwise, yesterday WAS eventful, but I guess I wasn't all that *enthusiastic* about it.

...the Lantern Parade at UP. *sigh* I suppose in recent years the lanterns have been...deteriorating? in quality...last time I attended (about 3-4 years ago) the F.A. had this BEAUTIFUL insect parade...so large and pretty and detailed and cool...and then there was this giant caterpillar lantern, and the whole parade was flowing and wonderful. There was a drumbeat, music, whistles, lights...the works. People just cheered, but some were mesmerized and frozen to the spot.

This year's parade...was...um...a faint cry in comparison to *that* one. Of course, noticeable paraders were the Pep Squad (I actually enjoyed their parade more than the FA's...*sigh*) and yes, the "water element" portion of the FA's parade. (floating balloon jellyfish!) Anyway, to top it all off, there was a nice, short fireworks display at the very end, which had the whole campus paralyzed, faces to the sky, for five minutes.

Oh, and me? Well...I jumped of an 8-foot ledge and landed in the mud (I didn't want to climb down...for some reason..height fear!! dundun) and well, luckily I wasn't muddied at all (save for my pants) and then left Mithi with the pisay people...and then walked around UP looking for KJ..(palma hall...vinzons hall...uh...what?) and then that was it. I never did get to see KJ though. :P Huh. There's always next year.

alive again.

A better day this way comes. I'm going to the lantern parade at UP tomorrow, so that should provide adquate inspiration. :D Um. Laptop's still going crazy, but I think I fixed YM, so that should be a little bit better. Ferdinand is not so lethargic and Isabella enjoys biting things. The math project is going well. (after I got mad at them, lol) and today I made a pretty pin out of pink barbie doll shoes. ^_^

hannah is getting somewhere...slowly.

...and I am nowhere..

..........bored. hopelessly bored.

..Ferdinand is lethargic.

...and I still don't know how to paint cute ferocious cats.

post-school dementedness

"School is over."

*looks around*

"yay!"

Okay. So there might be nothing else to do once school is done and over with. So what? I'm kind of relieved. Finally...a series of unbelievably blank days to pass the time doing nothing. -_- Ok, so it doesn't sound too appealing, but hey, there's lots of things to worry myself with. Like Christmas presents that have to be painted. And wrapped. And given *before* Christmas. (cy...!) anyway. I don't feel extremely Christmasy right now. Got an account in deviantart (horay for me..) and I need to work on my March exhibit pieces...and that orchestra poster for Kuya Eigen.. @_@ and...oh yeah...the prom dress.

*sigh* Today has been the first day of blankess. In which my sisters had a playover, and their little friends wrecked the room and consequently, messed up my stuff. Haha. Ohwell. Siblings are a blessing. and a curse, i suppose. :P Lookin forward to the days ahead. Maybe.

:. shoot for the moon and you will land among the stars.

star

-old song. really old song. that is stuck in my head right now. along with speedy gonzales. LoL. Haha. 'The Impossible Dream' by joe darion, from man of la mancha. this is my quest. =^_^=-

To dream ... the impossible dream ...
To fight ... the unbeatable foe ...
To bear ... with unbearable sorrow ...
To run ... where the brave dare not go ...
To right ... the unrightable wrong ...
To love ... pure and chaste from afar ...
To try ... when your arms are too weary ...
To reach ... the unreachable star ...

This is my quest, to follow that star ...
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far ...
To fight for the right, without question or pause ...
To be willing to march into Hell, for a Heavenly cause ...

And I know if I'll only be true, to this glorious quest,
That my heart will lie will lie peaceful and calm,
when I'm laid to my rest ...
And the world will be better for this:
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove, with his last ounce of courage,
To reach ... the unreachable star ...

What is Felt

The perio is over. Yay! The exams were kind of um...more manageable than I expected, so yeah. It was fun. (?) Anyway, today I gave one christmas gift...to kj. The rest will follow of course, as I rack my brains some more so they can produce better things. What is felt today? Well, I feel happy and relieved and tired and thankful and surprised and I feel like laughing. One thing was given today, two were received and one more was stolen. ;)

Ah. And meet the turtles, Ferdinand and Isabella. The names...stuck to my mind once I uttered them. Hehe. So there. Given by a most thoughtful gentleman who seems to enjoy giving pets. ^^ THANK YOU.

it's a nice day.

It's a nice day.

Sunday, a day of rest, or so it seems. Tonight is our church's Christmas Cantata, which is a joint celebration with Nave's church, DBC. Christmas is just around the corner, and already I can smell a turkey cooking in my Aunt's oven. Mmmm. Turkey. Gifts to wrap, carols to sing, and people to wish a merry christmas. Oh yeah, Erika's birthday on the 8th. Don't forget! ;)

Of course, Pisay just has to be thrown into the holiday craze as well. Mg wasn't able to audition for the paskorus (T.T) but I suppose that means less work for the rest of us. Perio looms again, but on a more festive note, since the *EXTREMELY KIND* bonus-giving teachers (might) endow us with an early gift. ;) Hehehehe.

As for me, the only thing i'm wishing for this Christmas is a mug of hot chocolate and a good book to read. (note: ANANSI BOYS) But of course, we cannot forget the reason behind Christmas, and that is the birth of Christ. Whose fault? I suppose we can thank RUTH and BOAZ for our exsistence, and NAOMI as well. Check it out. Ruth chapter two. ;) Credit goes to Kuya Dave for that "thrilling conclusion" to his mini-series. ^_^

*christmas is a time to love.
