rollercoasterscreams.

Happy 2nd birthday, hannahisapalindrome. :)

Teacher speeches on the very last day of High School.

Sir Palima : I was a caretaker in Japan..

Sir Talaue: Choose what course you really really really really want.

Ma'am Caintic : Alis na kayo!

Sir Arghs: You were a fun class, albeit sometimes irritating...

Ma'am Candy: How much was the tablet?

Sir Sherwin: Goodbye, Muon.

Well, I don't have much to say about our very last day. It was normal, but that just goes to show that the feeling of lastness, of finality creeps up on you when you least expect it. Today was just...blah. The end will come like a thief in the night. And that day is hurtling towards us at the crashing speed of a defunct rollercoaster.

Kuya Daniel just came. With pencils. And a sketchpad. For me.

*JUMP*

HappinesS!!!!

Yellow Rain

We were young and so inspired
We weren't the only ones who thought
We'd change the world
No sun would set without us
No one we knew could ever doubt us

We had our future figured out
We knew a love like ours would always save the day
And that we'd always be ok

But would you know me now
Would you lay me down beside you
Tell me everything I want to hear
Like that was your favorite year

Yeah, rushed ending to the last post. The reason being that i'm in no mood to continue. Let's pull ourselves into the bright, hot air of reality once again. Today is the beginning of the last normal week. I realized that after Physics, and despite the ridicule of the situation, shed a tear. Chest constriction, and I...I didn't know what to feel. Apprehension describes it best. During lunch period, I walked around with James, Cyrus, and Paola (after not finding him. at all.) And we took to the grandstand and watched the yellow flowers fall. The heavy feeling grew.

Goodbye Pisay. Goodbye Physics room. Goodbye table. Goodbye Paola. Goodbye James. Goodbye Jira. Goodbye Sir Palima. Goodbye air. Goodbye field. Goodbye grandstand. Goodbye rocks. Goodbye, high school...

I've stopped convincing myself that I don't belong. It happened at the beginning of senior year, surprisingly. Because for once, I was content. For once, I could smile at school life with a light heart inside me. Looking back on the things that happened, I can say that there isn't a year that compares to the 4th.

In the middle of Sir Sherwin's lecture on differential equations, I practiced a bit of pen twirling, remembering someone who told me that I wasn't from Pisay if I couldn't pen twirl. It is the last week. The last normal, everyday beginning; the end of together. And I couldn't find him. I wanted to tell him that, "Guess what? today is the last normal-ish Monday!" He'd probably answer with "Yup. *insert one digit number* school days na lang eh..." and I'd say, "Yeah. I can't believe we're almost done.."

See? I've to resort to imagining conversation. But there are better things to do. Cheer up, hannah. I'm going to miss a lot of things about Pisay. We're almost there. It's only a matter of waiting.

It isn't a new feeling. - Jovi

I nearly dated the prom king.

Feb 17th--

I woke up and found that he messaged me at 4 in the morning that today was prom. (I do believe his excitement > mine) Alright. I still had a mask to cram and several minor preparations to undertake before the actual thing, and since the mask wasn't what I expected, there was a bit of panic=mindblank=chaos going on in my head.

So we went to the mall. My sisters and my dad watched the All-breed dog show while mom and I hunted for a pretty shawl. We finished late, and the backs of my ankles were scarred because of those evile new shoes I thought would be comfortable. I ran into Jovi (actually, he poked me on the escalator), who went shopping for a corsage for Karizz. Home, after. I took a bath, dried up, and we hauled off to the salon.

I was curlified there. And we finished quite late. In a minor state of panic (again), mother drove home and I dressed up, while little sisters and their friend gawked at my hair. And dress.

Pat: You look like your drawing!

I'm not sure if that was a compliment on her part, but there wasn't time to think of that. My main concern was to get to Edsa Shang before the traffic ate up the car. Unfortunately, dad was in the mood for siblingly pictorials. So fine. Pose. Smile. Glare and scurry away in heels when it was over. I got into the car, and then mom began doing her last-minute mom things. Sit properly. Did you drink water? Eat cookies. Okay. Okay. Gaaaah.

Traffic. I couldn't lean back on the seat or touch my hair. The opportunity cost of being curly. It was a dull and anxious two hour trip. But at least I arrived.

"I'll pick you up later?"

"Yeah. Bye dad!"

"Have fun."

*click*

Okay. Look for the boy in the white suit. He wasn't outside. Ohwait, there he was. I waited for a bunch of little children to exit, and then stepped into the lobby. Erik looked unusually pretty . He looked at the mask I was holding.

"Ok na yan." I nodded, and he told me to wait. I saw Brr (mark jason) and AJ and Pabs and people, and they took pictures. Hurrah. Going over to where my date was, I put my mask down, and realized that a couple of rhinestones had fallen off. Crap. Erik held up a glittery silver and black mask. Yay.

We saw Jamie and her mom on the way down to the ballrooms. Said hi to people, and registered. It was time to go inside. Table 15. Messina. I do believe we crossed the room thrice to find it. The Muon table. Well, muon + vladybaby extension + Mr. Gallego. Kisses were scattered all over the centerpiece. Llyza was there, along with Chrissy, Maudrik, Cyrus, Sir Vlad and Ziella. And Ziella's dress. Was purple and feathery and lovely. So even though I was basically an hour late, things were looking up. =)

Sir Martin and Pretty Female Teacher were our emcees. The set-up was quite nice, with a giant white mask amidst red draperies at the back of the stage. Erik went off to get his solo shots, and I sat with the Muon people and looked around. James got to do his Prince of India thing. With hat and white gloves. *applause* I spotted Paola and Celine (who, quite suspiciously, was seated by Junnius) and Vincent and Mark and-- ohhhh. Lithium.

Jira looked like a disney princess. And Apple was erik's real date. ;P

We ate dinner. Llyz and I should've shared a meal with extra rice. Cause I wasn't able to finish, and neither was she. Mushrooms! And an AVP on 07 and 08. Sad and fun and with a lot of...movie clips. It was nice. :D

Right! Voting for King and Queen. So Erik wanted to be king. Fine. I scribbled on the four sheets of paper, voting Zie for Queen. After dinner, we went around and paparazzied and watched the cotillion and the teachers dancing onstage. The usual activities followed. Group pictures outside, and there was a Sampa pic (*GASP*) and Sir Arghs struck a very amusing figure in his silver mask. Erik = camwhore. Seriously.

The dancing followed. I missed the viscomm pic ='( and people kept stepping on me, and I was falling asleep and Joriel asked me what his finger was. Uh. So then Erik wanted to dance with someone and left me with Kuya Ed who left me with Pabs who passed me back to Erik and then I wanted to dance with James, and I did...

And then there was Jovi, Audrik (who wanted Mau so he left me with Janmikes), and Janmikes--we spun around a lot. Till I got extremely dizzy, and he didn't. So he passed me back. Dance. Dance. Dance.

And then it ended. And then we were happy. The end.

The flight of paper hearts

It is a happy Tuesday. ^_^

Liean, James and Jovi went to my house and ate Elf-cookies and played the piano. We basked in the pre-valentine's ambiance. Erik called later on. And we loudspeakered him. Socks likes the three of them =)

music : the long way round - dixie chicks

Hot weather/Cold hands

I need warmth. (needed, actually.)

Achievement tests! Chem and Bio, this is the first day. February 12th. Please bring your sharpened Mongol # 2 pencils with eraser intact. No talking during the exam. You have 60 minutes to make guesswork of Philippine history. Time starts now.

Lunch was at the caf : a hotdog bun with everything on it, complete with hungry boy wanting to bite off. And me running away from the blue scarf which also had everything on it. Trip to the front lobby, where Gino sat. Erik played around with the scarf some more and then Jao came and they talked about stuff, which finally led to butt-measurements (the usual) and then some. Then they started picking on Domo (0_0) nevermind..

Anyway, we took off to the mall for lack of stuff to do at school (and to get linen pants <3 ) yay yay yay yay yay yay yay!!! Thanks for the pants, dear!!! *jumpjump* Pants that aren't see through and stuff. x.x Hurrah!! Lovely, they are. Pantspantspantspants. White. And. Too long for me. And pricey. x.x Moving on...

We walked around some more and looked at another pair of pants, this time pinstriped. He mentioned he sucked at shopping. We went to Fully Booked and checked out some Bob Ong books and cards and notebooks (I *want* the McDonalds journal. Will get it next time xD) and then went around some more...(mojos at Shakey's) and then he heard some guy singing this song on a Magicsing, so we went downstairs in time for that part that sounded familiar. ^_^ Haha. Coincidental.

After that, we went to the pet shop and squeed and gushed over the adorable puppies. There was that Husky he wanted (blue eyes) and the *adorable* little Chowchow puppy and the Yorkie. 0_0 Cuuuuute!! *gush* We talked about random fun things, like how we both used to get dropped off at Kids at Work, what he was going to do for his birthday (17 dances? x.x), and how awesome FA graduates get to while away time airbrushing T-shirts for people. T.T lucky dogs.

Right. After that we got iced tea and walked around some more, looking into random shops, (the temptation of getting a haircut dawns somewhere here) and then the Extreme HotShots contest came up. >.> He got one order of extreme hotshots and we were supposed to eat it. One by one. The consequence was a *mwah*. No iced tea. I don't normally eat spicy food, and neither does he. Bato bato pik. Hannah loses and she goes first. Dip in gravy, put into mouth. Still okay. Erik goes next.

This continues until the whole box is empty. My lips are aflame. He's sweating. My eyes are tearing up. In the end, nobody wins. x.x This is where my hands are cold, and his are not. The world reverses for a minute. I exploit his hand warmth. Yay! Warm hands. Damp-ish, but warm.

Empty iced tea cups, and then we head home. Time to walk--

Every street going right is Vigan road. There's the castle house, the tower house, and the house with the old lady and her giant pet snake. Seriously. Then after walking some more, we get to my house. He waits outside while I go in to get some funds because I owe him stuff, and then the ates let him in, oh wait, he doesn't want to sit or drink-- time to go, erik. So we go out and walk towards the gate--

But then he wants to get Socks. Fine. We go back. :P Sockuu. She doesn't pay attention to him and sniffs the ground. To the gate! Walking for a bit through the park, the world looks sleepy and lovely and warm.

The day ends here. He gets into a cab, and waves. Byebye. ^_^

V

Vladymuonforuming is fun. =P

I think i'll make it a habit to post here weekly, at least. Last night was Ate Dane's debut, with eighteen presentations and eighteen lessons and eighteen times the fun. With age comes privilege comes responsibility. It's one and a half more years for me, and I can wait. =)

Today was spent studing for the Bio achievement test. -_- The dcbcyf people were practicing in the living room the whole time, but I got to join them for the latter part. Kuya Mark is a foodmonster. Too bad Chel wasn't there. The entire tub of pancit would've disappeared in seconds. Ate Monique is 19. And Adi is 16.

The week ahead is very busy. We're looking at exams, exams, exams, and prom. And after that, the perio! And the musical!

---

Around me lies chaos. Paper on the floor, paper on the bed, and paper on the desk. Four bio notebooks containing three quarters' worth of lessons and bags and drawings and pencils and rubbershoes scattered all over the place. This is my world, and as far as i'm concerned, creative clutter is love. And so is Muon and room 206's hilarious music videos. 0_0 This puts Jed in a whole new light! :)) *fangirl*

I finished Thr3e a few days ago. All I can say is that it is...shocking and brilliant. And shocking. 0_0 Gaaaahhh.

It seems i'm too distracted to blog decently right now. :P Another time then!

Missing Marbles

Not the best of days. Waking up to a sore throat and exploding parents, I ate a late breakfast of instant oatmeal and cold water. The day proceeded with "the talk" revolving around grades, life, and possible distractions. A cruel, cold bath came after, along with the February chills. I drifted through what was left of morning with a little cloud of depression floating above me. At least, until the DCBCYF people came.

We practiced for an upcoming musical, called T.G.I.S. Dancing, songs, acting. By this time my throat was killing me, and the notes Kuya Mark wanted got higher and higher. Voice projection. I was tasked to get Chel's solo for Seasons of Love, since Gabe left and Chel got to take over his song. >.> My skin was burning up for some reason...I passed it off as a reaction to the cold weather.

At around 8:30, Adi and I met to talk over our first ever bible study, which was scheduled for tomorrow. The passage was Nehemiah 13, and was basically about the sinful nature of man. The chapter was stuffed with lessons and little observations, and I'm just glad we were able to meet and weed out the possible nuggets of wisdom from the text. It was fun talking to her again-- the last time we really really hung out was when we were eight and sunday school classmates. And now, we're leading our first bible study. 0_0 Time doth fly.

We ate ice cream after that. Not a smart move for me. I lost both dessert and dinner soon after Adi left, and the thermometer professed me feverish. Runny nose, cough, fever = flu! And so the first illness of the year comes to attack. So now I sit, shivering a little. Erik is telling me to go to sleep, but maybe in a few minutes. Cold air and wet hair do not mix (perhaps it isn't flu but a mere head cold) In any case, today was definitely nice, but not the best of days.
