The Vain Attempt.

Bergenfield, New Jersey. 10:10 PM. For some reason, I cannot create a new paragraph. The computer here has become one of my worst enemies. I cannot email. I cannot upload pictures. I cannot download Yahoo Messenger because it's going to freeze up when the installation is two thirds over, thus aborting the entire process. ARGH. Anyway, this is my vain attempt to contact the outside world. Readers, if ever you come across the elusive being that is Robert Merrera, please tell him to get me a copy of 'The Prince of Tennis', and that I will pay him his due, and for his trouble, if necessary. And, once I get ahold of a workeable device with dsl, this blog shall shed its skin once more. -__- *sigh* DialUp. Can't live with it, can't live without it.

Terry Terrific.

aS cliched as the title may seem, it is true. Terry Pratchett is a wonderful author. I've only read around ten pages of Good Omens, the novel that he co-wrote with Neil Gaiman, before dropping the book because it was time to leave. But then I had another chance to read his stuff when my seatmate on the airplane from Indiana bound for New Jersey handed me a copy of Pratchett's first book, The Color of Magic. Delighted was I, and my faith in friendly strangers renewed. A little more small talk with the man, and I found out that he knew Robin Williams and met with him on a regular basis. He has an actress-girlfriend-schoolteacher who has small holes in the sleeves of her sweater where you can put your thumb in. He runs a comedy club in New York, but lives in Jersey. I didn't get his name. Ah, the fun, coming across a nice stranger. He even let me keep the book. ^_^

Back.

Wow. An actual update.

Traveling is exhausting, especially if you have two little demi-monsters with you in the car constantly attempting to lick you whilst having to endure the semi-bland farmscape of parts of California for more than six hours. Yes, you can probably tell that I'm travel-sick, and thankful that I'm back where we started two weeks ago.

The vacation is a third over, but I barely notice. Over the course of five days we've gone to Frisco, Cannery Row, The Montgomery Bay Aquarium, Solvang (some Danish town) and other minor places too inferior to mention. It's been raining, shining and blowing. And my cold is still here, ever present.

The weather has almost been gotten used to. Midnight here, and now I must sleep. -_- Tired. Tired, tired, tired, but back. Four more weeks to go. New skin. I have uploaded again. *snore*

Kilay, Siopao, Batgirl.

I have uploaded. :D

A lot of things happened. Two eventful days in a row! Yay. I think.
March 30 2006:
I attended college. One class, at USC (University of Southern California) on Gerentology (the study of old people--er, aging) It was...a mix of bio and chem, escalated to college level. The proffessor was late, so the class (15) was about to walk out. About to. In classic pisay fashion, just as some guy named Omar was about to open the door, Prof. Pike walked in and said "Darnit! I thought you guys would be gone!" :D Hehe. There was a lecture...discussion...thankfully no quiz. Since the topic was part bio, naturally, I fell asleep towards the end of the lecture. -_- Sorry, sir. Looks like I won't last too long in THAT class. ^_^

After, ate Trina drove to the California Science Center, where we watched a 3D documentary in the IMAX theatre about the deep blue sea...I also fell asleep during the latter portion. Blame it on jetlag! Before the movie, we went to downtown LA, Little Tokyo, specifically, and ate at one of those conveyor belt sushi places. The Frying Fish. xD Healthy and fun!

Once back at the home base (auntie chit's house in Lomita), dad's older brother uncle dado picked us up and brought us to dinner at a korean restaurant called "Korean BBQ". Spicy! There we ate with my colossal cousins Kuya Porty and Kuya Daniel (he's an anime freak) and went to THE GREATEST LIBRARY ON EARTH but I forgot what it was called... -_-

I borrowed a book from the GREATEST LIBRARY ON EARTH. A graphic novel..Batgirl-Year One. Lovely. Too bad I finished it in one night. Gah. Bad hannah...I just couldn't help myself. Then, we went across the street to BORDERS, another great bookstore. ^_^ There was MANGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gah. Long post. >,< I seriously don't feel like typing anymore. I guess I should mention Kilay the dog, and Siopao the other dog. Kilay is Kuya Porty's, and Siopao belongs to my youngest cousin Tiffany. Oh, and we watched some anime at Kuya Daniel's house...in his home theatre. xD Ai Yori Aoshi. Knowing dear Robert-san, he probably knows of this. Ahahahahaa...

Okay. Enough. ^_^ I want to know what's going on back home~! Keep me up to date. We're heading for San Francisco tomorrow... a six hour drive from LA. More updates to come. And don't forget to check out the Multiply.
